TOKAME FOUR LEGGED STOOL


     Even though the Eddy stool is deceivingly stable, for those among us that need the comfort and security of sitting on a seat supported by four legs Peter designed the Tokame stool. The basic blueprint of the seat is the Eddy stool, minus the curve in front to accommodate the single front leg.  The spreader in the front of the seat is more defined and shorter giving this stool  a  feminine look.  The highlight around the edge of this seat is consistent in width unlike the Eddy stool's highlight which widens towards the back of the seat.  Even though the Eddy and Tokame stools look quite different when placed side by side Peter worked off the Eddy stool to create this four legged stool.  All four legs are quite strong without stretchers but Peter added decorative side and back stretchers to compliment the curves of this short stool.
